2026 Trustee Election Cancellation

At the close of the trustee nomination period that ran from September 1, 2026, through September 15, 2026, only one candidate was nominated for the Place 3 position on the Austin Firefighter Retirement Fund Board of Trustees. Incumbent and current Vice Chair, Chief Doug Fowler, has accepted the nomination.

In accordance with Fund Rules, no election will be held for an uncontested position. Chief Fowler will begin his renewed four-year term in January 2027 following certification by the Board of Trustees.
