Austin Firefighters Retirement Fund will be accepting candidate nominations for one position on the AFRF Board of Trustees. This year, Position 3, currently held by Vice Chair Doug Fowler, is up for election. Position 3 is designated as an "at large" seat and can be filled by either an active or retired member. 

Nominations for the trustee position can be submitted by email, phone, mail or in person from September 1 - September 15, 2025 using the contact information at the bottom of this page. Nominations received outside of these dates cannot be accepted pursuant to Fund statute.
