Beginning January 2026, Austin Firefighters Retirement Fund will begin processing payroll in-house and State Street will cease to issue monthly benefit payment advice (ACH Advice of Deposit) letters by mail. Payments will continue to be distributed as scheduled according to each member’s selected payment method. AFRF is currently developing an online member portal through which members will be able to view monthly payment confirmations. In the meantime, you are welcome to contact the pension office if you need a copy of your monthly payment advice while we prepare for the online portal.
